My jewellery is the culmination of a forty year career as a maker and craftsman which began, at the age of fifteen, as a mechanical engineer.
Since then I have worked as a model-maker and restorer of architectural antiques, and as a sculptor in wood and ceramics.
I take inspiration from many sources, from archaeology and ancient art through to contemporary culture. Much of my work is influenced by the human form, and the natural world.
Wherever possible the materials I use are recycled or from sustainable sources. Some pieces incorporate hand carved wood. All silver chains and leather thongs feature my handmade clasps. As a result, each piece is unique.
Commissions are welcome.
